Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

TRANSFORMATIVE CHANGE THROUGH CBT

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) is a powerful short-term evidence-based therapeutic model that has a proven track record for bringing about transformative changes in people’s lives. Grounded in the understanding that our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours are interconnected, CBT focuses on helping you identify and challenge negative or distorted patterns of thinking that are contributing to your emotional distress. CBT operates on the principle that our feelings are influenced by our thoughts. By collaboratively working together to change or reframe your perspective on various situations or challenges in life, we can ultimately alter how you feel about them as well.

CBT is often recommended by physicians and can be easily adapted to most problems for which people seek psychotherapy, such as anxiety, depression, phobias, low self-esteem and relationship and communication problems. With extensive specialized training in CBT and other evidence-based therapeutic modalities, I will take an integrated approach as I guide you on your healing journey so you can feel better.
